Thames Express Dry Cleaners accepts all laundry on the basis of weight and does not perform a piece-by-piece count. We have an expectation that clothing items sent to us can be washed in a machine. We ask that clients separate out any items that need to be dry cleaned and mark it as such.\u00a0<\/p>

Examples of laundry items that should be dry cleaned or at a minimum\u2014not sent out to launder:<\/p>

Clothing items that have linings in them \u2013 This includes dresses, gowns, skirts or pants
Clothing that has beading or delicate embellishments
Any clothing items that appear fragile or delicate
Any item that clearly states \u201cdry clean only\u201d
Clothing that is highly stained or soiled
Heavy wool such as coats or suits
Clothing that has a blend of fabrics generally should be dry cleaned
Fur (send out to dry clean)

Thames Express Dry Cleaners<\/span>\u00a0exercises great care in processing clothing items received to avoid misplacement or loss of items. Try as we may, there could come a day when items are misplaced or even lost. If you believe we have not returned an item, do the following:<\/p>

  1. Call us immediately (within 24 hours) to report that you do not see the item.<\/li>
  2. Double-check your home because it is possible that you thought you sent it but did not.<\/li><\/ol>

    Thames Express Dry Cleaners<\/span>\u00a0does not check clients\u2019 pockets. If ever a needle or any other dangerous item is discovered to be in a pocket, we will immediately discontinue service to client. In addition, clients are responsible for checking their pockets and removing all valuables such as jewelry or money.\u00a0Thames Express Dry Cleaners<\/span>\u00a0is not responsible for loss of or damage to any non-cleanable items left in clients\u2019 pockets.<\/p>

    Thames Express Dry Cleaners<\/span>\u00a0is not responsible for any damage to clothing that stems from items being left in laundry items (such as markers, pencils, pens, or makeup).<\/p>

    Thames Express Dry Cleaners<\/span>\u00a0is not responsible for any items that have been left unattended for pick up or delivery. We follow clients\u2019 delivery instructions. If a client requests that we leave items in a target area and the items are stolen or damaged, we are not responsible.<\/p>

    Thames Express Dry Cleaners<\/span>\u00a0is not responsible for clothes that shrink, bleed or changes shape during washing\/drying. Again, please check your labels prior to sending clothes to\u00a0Thames Express Dry Cleaners<\/span>.<\/p>

    We do not guarantee against color loss, clothes with poorly set dyes, normal wear and tear, preexisting damage, severe soiling, lost socks, or mismatches.<\/p>

    We will not be responsible for any damage that is done to your laundry during normal washing and drying such as buttons falling off, beads coming loose, hems or seams coming undone, etc.<\/p>

    Please do not send any items to\u00a0Thames Express Dry Cleaners<\/span>\u00a0that are labeled \u201chand wash only\u201d, \u201chang\/dry flat\u201d, \u201cspecial care\u201d or \u201cdry clean only\u201d. Due to the volume of clothing that we handle, we generally do not read the labels.<\/p>

    Thames Express Dry Cleaners<\/span>\u00a0makes every effort to remove stains but cannot guarantee that all stains can be or will be removed.<\/p>

    Our company\u2019s liability, with respect to any damaged articles, shall not exceed 3 times our charge for processing it. Payment is by way of Credit for services. We do not offer cash back.<\/p>
